Supply and quality of rooms and studios for students poor

In Maastricht we are experiencing a 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘀. Especially the supply and quality of rooms and studios for students are poor. Compared to other student cities, Maastricht has many rooms rented out by private individuals, mostly in monumental buildings. This includes a large number of landlords who seem to be mainly interested in making a profit and do little to ensure a safe place to live. Together with two other parties we have submitted written questions about the “𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽”.
